Podcast Alert: A YOU in Need of a Social Media Health Check?
Many of us have varying degrees of participation, engagement, visibility and success with our Social Media channels. Often times we dive in and we are so busy keeping up with content, notifications and the ever present "red notifications" that we don't get a chance to pause and reflect on our digital presence.
In my last LinkedIn article "Who are YOU Influencing in YOUR Professional Network" I talked about how I have been doing some soul searching on the difference between being a networker and exerting influence over your network. Also understanding the WHY of what you are doing and WHO you are trying to reach.
So... in an act of bravery…or some might call stupidity…I decided to take Part II of this topic to a podcast format. The idea was that I would have Katie White, expert in Influencer Marketing and building your on-line presence take me through her Social Media Health Check .
As it turns out...it is a lot harder to write, produce and record a podcast if you have never done it before. Having said that, learning something new and taking risks is what our leadership journey should be all about.
So with a lot of help along the way over many late nights and a couple of weekends, I persevered! I am pleased to announce the launch of the YOU Can be a Somebody Podcast. As it is a first try, hoping you will be kind and forgive any missteps, pauses, misstatement or incorrect "turn of phrase". We tried to make it conversational and authentic in an attempt for you to feel included.
